Tim & Marissa | Brighton Wedding at Patterns

Marissa and Tim’s wedding day began with a gentle walk through Preston Park, joined by their two dogs. It was a peaceful start, and a perfect way to capture a few relaxed, candid moments with their dogs in a natural setting. Including pets in the pre-ceremony photos added a personal touch, especially since it can sometimes be tricky to have them at the wedding itself. From there, we headed to Patterns, Brighton, where Marissa and Tim shared a beautiful ceremony officiated by Tim’s brother—a moment that left everyone in tears. This unique Brighton wedding venue provided the perfect backdrop for their day, blending a modern vibe with the city’s lively spirit. Afterward, we took a short walk to Brighton Pier for some fun, relaxed couple photos among the buzz of the city. It was a chance to capture Marissa and Tim in an authentic Brighton setting, surrounded by the life and energy they love. Following a delicious meal and heartfelt speeches, we snuck out for a few quiet moments down one of Brighton’s side streets. I always suggest taking this brief time together after the speeches—it’s a chance to pause, relax, and savour the day before the evening celebrations kick in.
Sam & Anna | A Colourful wedding in Brighton

Sam and Anna’s wedding had all the feels. A beautiful elegant ceremony at Brighton Pavilion followed by an exciting yet intimate gathering at Patterns in Brighton.
Hannah & Oli | At The Beautiful Montague Farm

I knew this wedding would be a lovely, relaxed affair—Hannah and Oli were so chilled out from start to finish. We met at the venue in the lead-up to the day, walked through the spaces, and went over the final details. It was really nice to meet them in person and get a feel for everything. Montague Farm is such a beautiful spot—set up on the Downs, you can see for miles, even out to the sea, which made Oli feel right at home. The ceremony was inside, with everyone crammed in close, making it feel really intimate. Afterwards, drinks and canapés were served on the lawn while we nipped off for some couple’s photos in a nearby field. The Downs made the perfect backdrop for group shots too—it kept things simple and meant we could grab people easily without moving around too much. I left before the meal, but the barn was set up beautifully. A huge congratulations to them both! xx

Jess & Matt | An Engagement Session at Sheffield Park

Loved meeting these two for an engagement session at Sheffield Park Gardens. We went after the crowds and caught some evening golden light. I chose my favourite 5 B&W to share with you here.
Jo & Tim | December in Eastbourne

Jo and Tim booked me for a few hours to photograph their intimate ceremony in the Mayor’s Parlour in Eastbourne. It’s a wonderful small ceremony room and you can enjoy walking up and down the beautiful staircase too. Afterwards I followed them across the road for a drink and then we headed to the sea front for a walk along the promenade. The dark early evening atmosphere with the lights made for some lovely moments. Here’s to more wintery evening photo sessions!
Laura & Richard | Sunshine at The Sussex Barns

Laura and Richard’s wedding at The Sussex Barns in Hellingly was nothing short of stunning. Blessed with a gloriously sunny day, the couple tied the knot in a heartfelt outdoor ceremony surrounded by the rolling fields below the barns. It was a perfect backdrop for their relaxed and joyful celebration. After the ceremony, we wandered into the fields for some fun and romantic photographs. Laura and Richard were such naturals, laughing and enjoying every moment together. The golden sunlight made the entire scene feel magical. The barns themselves were a masterpiece, beautifully decorated with personal touches. From rustic florals to twinkling lights, every detail added to the charm of the day and created the perfect atmosphere for celebrating with family and friends.
