It was such an honour to be asked to photograph Nik & Sara’s celebration in Spain. They invited all their close friends and family to their house in Spain which Nik had built.
This added an extra special element to the day as having all his close friends and family celebrate with him on this dreamy bit of land was surreal.
They wanted the day to be relaxed and casual and that’s exactly what it was. We did not have a set itinerary in terms of photographs but they wanted to just capture the celebrations without the photography interrupting anything. I love to work this way and so I floated around capturing small and big interactions as well as things like the speeches.
It was great fun in an excellent location!
