Lewes Patina’s 2019 theme is all about children’s literature. An event leading up to the Patina has put the spotlight on some local illustrators and some fantastic ones we have! The event was a geocache easter egg hunt with 15 illustrators hidden around the town poised ready to hand out chocolate easter eggs and talk about their work.
The weather was beautiful and attracted many explorers. I grabbed the opportunity to take some photograph and went on the hunt for the illustrators.
In book shops, galleries, converted barns and in old breweries I found the Artists along with lots of excited children eager to have a go at the art activities put on for them.
